Roy Hartsfield Vintage Game Used Bat Boston Braves Brooklyn Dodgers Blue Jays

Description

This is a Roy Hartsfield game used bat from the 1950s.  He spent 14 years in pro baseball, including 4 seasons with the Boston Braves.  He also played four seasons with the St. Paul Saints and Montreal Royals (AA for the Brooklyn Dodgers).  He later went on to coach with the Dodgers and Padres before coming the first manager of the Toronto Blue Jays.
The bat shows heavy use and is cracked on the handle.  It was repaired and wrapped with tape.  The barrel has some grain separation due to the heavy use.  Cleats marks are present on the barrel.  Two small chips are missing from the knob.
