Antique Austria Hungary Coat of Arms Fireback Dated 1795
with Double Headed Eagle Wearing a Crown
Today I Have This Original Cast Iron Fire-Back Dated 1795 with the Royal Coat of Arms of Austria Hungary for Sale. This Coat of Arms depicts a Double Headed Eagle Wearing a Crown. The Double Headed Eagle has been Used Many Times through History. In 1795 This Symbol or Seal was used for the Austrian Hungary Empire. Another Unique part to this is that the Number 1 looks like a Meat Hook. I havent found out what that means yet. But Never The Less This This is SUPER Cool.
The Story that Comes with is That This was Brought back after WW2 with a Military Soldier and kept it Hidden for over 40 Years
After the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806, the double-headed eagle was retained by the Austrian Empire.
