This listing is for ONE 5906 Box, the exact box in the photos with all its contents; and the only one we have like it. Here is an original factory box for the Smith & Wesson 5906 Pistols that happen to be related to, and similarly sized to, the 59 series, 4000 series, and 5900 series pistols manufactured from 1968 until about 2008.  Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA, and its subcontractors. Special Order 1615 code is enigmatic to us; its TCP serial number prefix indicated a 1989 issue date, so this is an early box and is period correct for 4000 or 5900 pistols with square faced trigger guards. Construction is one piece folded cardboard outer with similarly constructed inner insert. Internal dimensions are 11 3/8 inches length by 6 1/2 width or height, by 2 1/4 inches thickness. External dimensions are slightly more, of course. For dimensions on the pistols, please consult smith-wesson com. This box contains its insert; its never executed factory registration card; instruction manual; Factory stamped Nox Paper, and Smith & Wesson Warranty Station flyer. Note that its insert does not have its black plastic trigger stud. Surface detractions are moderate, principally age toning to the contents, with moderate edge wear besides. We rate this box as Very Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
