This is your case and you have the opportunity to have it done "your way" by having some creative control on it's design. You choose the wood for it's construction (Walnut, Oak, Cherry - other options are available upon request - price and availability may be applicable), you choose the hardware's (catches,hinges etc) finish/color (Brass/Gold, Nickel/Silver or Antiqued brass/Bronze) you choose the interior color (Red, Burgundy, Royal Blue, Navy Blue, Kelley Green, Hunter Green, Black, Purple, Gray, Tan) and you choose the preferred pistol/revolver layout/orientation (facing to the right or left, etc).
Feel free to inquire about other decorative touches which may be available for your project (engraved plates, medallions, wood ammo/cartridge block, recessed area for accessory storage or display etc - these embellishments are an add-on, not included in base price)
For your consideration in this listing is a nice Presentation Case / Display box for storing and/or displaying a S&W Revolver with a barrel length of 6" inches or less, box dimensions with a length of roughly 15" or less (Need or want a larger case? Have a Longer barrel? Need a case for 2 guns?, no problem, contact seller for options and details). This case can be fitted to J, K, L or N frame revolvers (or any pistol or revolver regardless of make or model for that matter). This presentation case would make a worthy home for your prized Smith. Cases like this add a nice vintage luxury touch, a stylish way to show off your cherished revolver to your friends, family, fellow collectors or potential customers. This presentation case draws a lot of inspiration from presentation cases of the past, however this has been hand crafted and is not made by any firearms manufacturer.
This presentation case will be constructed from quality hardwoods like Walnut, Oak or Cherry (some other options are available - other wood species, or a case with a fancy veneer atop MDF construction, perhaps a see through tempered glass top might be something to consider as well -

contact the seller for details with your request), the overall dimensions of your case will be based on your particular fitting needs (your case will be built around your gun's dimensions, it's not a "one size fits all" scenario). The Case's interior is firm yet soft enough to not harm your gun's finish, it is lined with a stylish and attractive velvet in a color of your choosing (other fabrics may be available, suede, felt, plush velour etc).
This presentation case will be fitted to your particular Revolver, you'll need to provide make and model information and indicate any special features (providing a picture may be helpful) to insure proper fit. Case can be fitted to standard configured and stocked Revolvers or those with customized features (Fancy aftermarket grips, custom sights or optics, etc etc).
Most requested presentation cases feature a form fitted (French Fit) area for your pistol to rest in style while comfortably and firmly in place, this method will be fitted to your exact make and model so it's individual to that gun only (or others with the same dimensions). If you'd like your case English fitted, this method offers more open partitioned areas for the gun and other accessories to be placed (it's not form fitted to an individual firearm - most percussion/cap and ball revolvers use this style), we can do that as well. If you want your case to be even more universal we can place an upper and lower fabric covered soft foam insert which will hold the contents in place by a pressure fit when closed.

Additional note --- I do make a case I like to call "The Homage" - it draws a lot of inspiration from the S&W factory cases from the 60's, 70's and 80's. These cases are made from Mahogany and lined in a plush blue velour that is eerily similar in color to the blue flocking that was used by Smith and Wesson in that era.
