    life boat compass is marked on its cover with, "Star Pathfinder Reg. Trade Mark liquid-boat-compass." The top rim of the compass is marked, "50717 Star Boston U.S.A.   The compass face is marked Star Pathfinder, Milton, Mass.
    Diameter across the round cover is 4 3/8 inches. The height is approximately 3 inches. The diameter of the compass glass face is 2 inches
