    Description

    18th century English solid brass bed warmer. Very Large 59"long with 11 1/4" dia pan.  Hand forged brass with amazing hand crafted repousse details of a coat of arms.  Hand turned wood handle.  All original and sturdy.  Excellent condition, wear consistent with its age & use.  The lids on the early pans are beautifully engraved and pierced by the metalworker sometimes working the coat of arms for a specific family.  This large elaborately designed bedwarmer was made for a wealthy family. They were also handed down from generation to generation making it a great piece of history! Please note due to shape & size LOCAL PICK UP ONLY!
