    This vintage
    TOM and JERRY
    pullstring doll is in nice shape.
    His talking mechanism only pulls and retracts.
    No fast talking or slow talking. He shows a few stains, most noticeably on his belly. Quite a few talkers I see have a stain on their belly for some reason. Either kids had REALLY sweaty hands or something made a sizeable liquid stain right there on a lot of them. Took photos with two different phones and my camera. Always try to make them accurate and not hide anything. He's probably the longest/tallest Mattel talker I had. TOM is about 19" tall. He is missing one whisker. His tag is intact. JERRY the mouse has minor paint peeling on one ear. I intended to try and clean the white cloth parts some with Oxi-Clean one day. But, I knew from working with two Woody Woodpecker ones that the vibrant teal blue tends to want to run some (even with cold water) and you have to work carefully and fast. Finally Tom got put away and now I am 66 and a grandpa and need to keep thinning things out. He displays well as is. From a smoke-free and pet-free home.
