    Description

    Here's a very neat and unusual old handmade ASH SHOVEL for use in a Fireplace Hearth or a Woodstove or Furnace.  It's large at 38" long and the shovel blade is 10" by 8".   The blade is made of heavy brass, folded and shaped.  The handle is made of three 3/8" Steel Rods braided into a very unconventional design handle.  There's a carved Wood top handle.  Great visual appeal and very functional.  Not sure of the age but definitely not in the last 50 years IMO.  Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back.
