Charlie McCarthy Ventriloquist Dummy from the Effanbee doll Company made in 1938. This is a Genuine Charlie McCarthy and is the rare smaller 15 inch version in the white suit, blue shirt and original yellow bowtie! He is marked on his back "Edgar Bergen's Charlie McCarthy". The moving mouth has been repaired with a new spring and works fine. This Charlie looks fantastic from a few feet away, however at close inspection, you can really tell his age with many fine cracks in the paint.
