vintage 1909 Ty Cobb bat Detroit Tigers

Description

The bat is 29 1/2” long. These bats were made to commemorate Ty Cobb’s 1909 triple crown season. They were made by Ames Hanes co. And sold at stores and ball parks around the country. I’ve seen as low as 2k-4K were made. They were very cheaply made out of Georgia pine, as they had knots, holes, warped, as well as other defects. This one has survived Father Time in very nice 112 year condition. See pictures and message with questions.
