VINTAGE 1950's KHONER HOWDY DOODY PUSH PUPPET TOY & PENCIL TOPPER - VG CONDITION

Description

For sale is a vintage 1950's Kohner Howdy Doody Push Puppet (No. 180) and bonus Howdy Doody plastic Pencil Topper.  Howdy is made of beaded wood with a vinyl head and he is standing on plastic platform in front of an NBC microphone.  The scarf is not original, however, in my opinion, this stiff cloth scarf looks better than the original foam one.
Howdy stands about 4" tall...approximately 6" including the stand.  The top portion of his head has a small indentation.  Everything works well and Howdy's mouth opens and he bends various ways when the push portion under the platform is pressed.  Colors are still vivid and condition is superb considering the age of this sought after collectible.
