A Large and HEAVY pair of Vintage/Antique Brass & Canvas Diving Boots/Shoes
These diving boots were recently acquired from an historic St Lawrence River estate in Upstate NY
These boots have thick brass toes and soles and brass grommets in the shoelace holes.
The upper is canvas.
These have no names or signatures that I can see
Because they are designed to keep a diver on the sea floor, they are remarkably heavy (almost 12 lbs each!)
For size, the sole measures 14 1/4" long on the exterior. (I believe Diving boots are one-size-fits-all)
EACH boot weighs approximately 11 pounds 13 oz.
This is a Matching pair with a right foot and a left foot.
Both are in good vintage condition with no rips, tears to the canvas, there is expected tarnish and corrosion on the brass portions as well as soiling to the canvas and cracking of the SURFACE of the leather (it is not cracked through, just the surface.)

We do not accept returns EXCEPT in cases of Unintentional error in listing or overlooking of damage. We will not leave you stuck with anything that doesn't match our description. In these rare cases, please contact us within 3 day of receipt of item to arrange return

We typically ship via USPS and FedEx (again, dependent on size, weight and buyer location).
