VINTAGE BRASS DIVIDERS WITH STEEL TIPS.  Maritime use on charts, drafting use by engineers.
These were owned by a machinist and designer. Possibly 75 years old.  To the best of my knowledge, were last used in the 1950s.
No manufacturer's trademark or owner's mark.
Legs are triangular in cross-section.  All brass down to about 2" from tips, and then steel to the tips.
Size is 6-1/4" overall.  Tip-to-hinge-center is 6 inches.  Weight is 1.7 oz. by my scale.
Used but not damaged.  Note that the dividers are NOT all polished up -- you are seeing them as-is, as found.  You could polish if you want but what's for sale is the authentic appearance and condition.
