Vintage Brass Fireplace TOOL STAND HOLDER Dog and Hunting Motif.
This is the best fire place tool set I have ever seen. SOLID CAST BRASS.  I have no idea as to the age, but it is old.  The detail is astounding.  When I was going over this to list, it reminded me of the kids magazine "Highlights for Children " where you search the picture to find things. This is LOADED with detail!
This set makes a statement !!  Whether for the man's cave or a formal living room,  this piece looks rich.
22 inches tall, 12 inches across foot tip to foot tip and approximately  10 inches deep. The hunting dog, which is the focal point is 2 1/2 X 6 inches.  In the basin is a pheasant in relief and a pair of legs probably of a rabbit that is covered up by hanging things.  A gun rests against a vine covered support and there is a hunter's horn hanging around the top where the cradle connects.  Comes with matching ash shovel and poker.  Those are 26 inches long
There are no markings on the back or base.
This is heavy . Weighs 15 pounds
