Vintage Danny O'Day Ventriloquist Doll
Very nice cosmetic appearance but unfortunately the string does not work to open and close his mouth.
Made in the USA at the Goldberg Doll Manufacturing Company Brooklyn New York.
I do not see the year he was made but researching tells me the 1970's era.
He is very bright and clean.Best of all he does not smell!
He comes fully dressed in what appears to be his original clothing.
He does have shoes but I was not sure if they are the original ones.
After researching  I do believe they are the original even though they look like girl shoes.
I added a picture to this listing .
He spent many years at my mother's home covered with a pillowcase to keep the dust off!
