RARE! Large Vintage Hand Forged Cast Iron/Steel Scroll Fireplace Tool Log Holder Screen SET - Estate Find!
Heavy scroll work - looks a bit medieval
Stamped on bottom of andirons “Made in Canada”
Gorgeous, complete set! Below are measurements and weights:
Andirons - 15 pounds each, 21” front to back, 21” tall, 10” at widest point. The ring on each andiron is removable. All pieces are tight.
Log Holder - 15 pounds, 20” long, 17” wide, 12.5” tall.
Tool Set - 18 pounds, 32.5” tall, 11” wide, about 7” deep when all tools are on holder. Tools consist of poker, tongs, shovel, broom.
Screen - 24 pounds, 44” wide, 32” tall, 6” deep at foot of screen.
As you can see, this set weighs in TOTAL about 87 pounds!
Fireplace screen features 2 brackets where screen can be mounted to the hearth. Screen slides open and closed as shown in photos.
This set needs a bit cleaning up as it is dusty from being stored in owners garage. There is old masking tape residue on tool set as tools were taped together - I’m sure this can be removed easily with goo gone.
This is a heavy, large and beautiful set!
I have this listed as pick-up only although if buyer wanted to arrange shipping, I would consider it. I won’t wrap and package pieces but I can be available for a shipping pick-up.
