VINTAGE JOHN BLISS & CO. TAFFRAIL LOG WITH LIONEL CORP. SPINNER MOUNTED ON BOARD
A piece of nautical history in good condition.
John Bliss & Co. taffrail measures 10.75" x 3".
Taffrail is all brass. (Meter part inside glass shows wear.)
Spinner made by The Lionel Corp. (N.Y., NY) measures 15" x 6.25".
All mounted for display on wood base (appears to be cedar) measuring approx. 33" x 6"
Rope between the two displayed items with nameplate 'TAFFRAIL LOG' at top center of base.
A great display item that was put together by late father. Removed from old ship in Mobile prior to being sunk for artificial reef.
