A wonderfully detailed tortoise sits in the bowl area of this porcelain ashtray/dish. Included is a second tortoise with a removable top. In great condition, no breaks or cracks.
Both dish and visiting turtle are marked at bottom...WADE PORCELAIN - MADE IN ENGLAND.
Whimsical deep cigar or cig ashtray from 1950s/1960s Wade Potteries.
Three wide rests will accommodate cigars, incense sticks...or whatever!
Measures 7.25″ wide, 2.25” tall, weighs 2.5 lbs (heavy, thick porcelain).
